This needs no introduction! But for those that want Super Mario Bros 3 is a platform adventure game for the Nintendo Nes, which is a fantastic console. It was released in Japan on October 23, 1988; in North America on February 9, 1990; and in Europe on August 29, 1991. It also came out for the Game Boy Advance and was later released on the Wii’s Virtual Console as well as being released as a special game pack called Super Mario All Stars-25th Anniversary Edition for the Wii.

This is an updated or pimped version of the same game pack which includes Super Mario Bros, Super Mario Bros : The Lost Levels, Super Mario Bros 2 and the game in reviewing Super Mario Bros 3. Whichξoriginally came out on the Snes. When a game has been brought out over so many different consoles over so many years you know its good.

You play as Mario an Italian plumber trying to save Princess Toadstool from the evil Bowser and his seven Koopaling children. But I’m pretty sure everybody knows the story of Mario.ŒæYou must play through each 8 levels to save her, beating a different Koopaling child at the end of each level until you reach Bowser!!!

First thing i will say is i absolutely love this game, in the age old question ‘If you could only play one game for the rest of your life what would it be?’ I would chooses Super Mario bros 3. The soundtrack is great, really basic but these tunes have stuck with me throughout my life and probably drove millions of parents crazy with their repetitions over the years. The graphics are basic on the Nes but still a vast improvement on Super Mario Bros and Super Mario Bros 2, they improve on the Snes and are beautiful on the latest release on the Wii. I’m a fan of colourful games and Super Mario Bros 3 is just that a beautiful and colourful game.

The best thing about the game is probably the game-play, absolutely hours of fun not all of it easy tho. The first couple of worlds yes they maybe easy but after that it starts to get hard. The characters you come up against every world change and so does Mario’s power Ups, you can become Fire Mario, Frog Mario, Hammer Mario and many more.

This game is so addictive you just wanna keep playing, its like many side scrolling platform but it just has something extra that sets it apart from the rest. So if you haven’t before or if you haven’t done since you where a child play Super Mario Bros 3 on any platform or console you can. This was my Super Mario Bros 3 Game Review, I hope you enjoyed it and most of all PLAY IT.
